Our annual Home Care Awards 2022 recognises 20 of the top rated Home Care Providers in each region of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) based on reviews from service users/clients and their family/friends.

The Awards are based on the Provider's Review Score, as of 31st March 2022, for a full breakdown of a Provider's Review Score please visit the 'Reviews' tab on its profile page.

Please note there is no ranking within each of the Top 20 Home Care awards. The current provider review scores on the website do not reflect the review scores at the time of the awards.

Eligibility Criteria for Individual Home Care Providers:

• 1) Being listed on homecare.co.uk means you are eligible to be considered for an award
• 2) The awards are based on the review score at the published cut-off date of Thursday 31st March 2022 (not your position as listed on the website, the review score can change on the website any time up to and after the award cut-off point)
• 3) Care providers must have at least 5 reviews published between 1st April 2021 and 31st March 2022
• 4) Regulatory compliance is required as per our specified criteria - click here
• 5) If a care provider receives a downgraded rating and is put into special measures within the year following the awards announcement, the award will be removed from the profile page
• 6) Care providers will be excluded from the awards or have their award withdrawn if there is a breach of our review policy prior to or following the awards (e.g. we discover fraudulent activity)

Please note there is no ranking within each of the Top 20 Home Care Group awards. The current home care group review scores on the website do not reflect the review scores at the time of the awards.

There are 2 categories for Home Care Group Awards:

• Top 20 Large & Mid-size Home Care Groups 2022 (4+ Group Members)
• Top 20 Small Home Care Groups 2022 (2-3 Group Members)

Eligibility Criteria for Care Groups:

• 1) The awards are based on the review score at the published cut-off date of Thursday 31st March 2022 (not your position as listed on the website, the review score can change on the website any time up to and after the award cut-off point)
• 2) The group review score is derived from the average of all the review scores of its members with a review score. 75%+ members of the group must have a review score before a group review score can be achieved
• 3) If a care provider receives a downgraded rating and is put into special measures within the year following the awards announcement, the award will be removed from the profile page (for groups if this puts them below the 75% requirement, the award logo will be removed)
